The March 2019 ProWein wine show for professionals edition, held in Düsseldorf, Germany, drew 60,000 wine professionals from over 150 countries. This event proved essential, burnishing the reputation of Cellier des Dauphins and bolstering its distribution network.

This venue was the perfect opportunity to greet our clients and partners from all over the world. Cellier des Dauphins’ new stand – a replica Provençal wine bar with an outdoor patio – proudly expresses the values of our vinicultural region. Turnout was high as our many clients from North America (the United States and Canada), the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, Eastern Europe, and of course Germany attended this prestigious event, a must for wine professionals the world over. Partners from other parts of the globe also sought us out (South Africa, Réunion Island, Turkey, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, and many more).

ProWein is a unique opportunity to spotlight our entire line of fine wines and convey the brand’s new identity, with tastings of all our vintages. Our communications strategy focused on the growing and harvesting of the grapes, as well as élevage (aging, fining, filtering, and blending) – all the work it takes to produce wines with such distinct styles and flavour profiles. The goal is to offer vintages that delight a wide range of wine-lovers and are suitable for every occasion: from casual summer apéritifs to fine dining and grand occasions.

Our stand also attracted a number of international bloggers and journalists, including a hefty contingent from the German- and English-language press. They dropped in to see what was new at Cellier des Dauphins. Their impressions, posted and written up, are a vital means of burnishing our reputation and boosting international visibility in export markets.

The new wines and brand identity made quite a splash. We expect the extremely favourable welcome they received to translate into firm orders and to being picked up by new distributors.
