Launch of the Réserve range, wines at the heart of our identity

Cellier des Dauphins’ wines are the fruit of the vinicultural expertise of our winegrowers – the Union of Côtes du Rhône winemakers (UVCDR) . The UVCDR is a union that gathers proud committed winegrowers whose terroirs stretch from the south-eastern Rhône Valley to the foothills of the southern Alps, 11 villages nestled in their picturesque vineyards.

Our Côtes du Rhône Réserve AOCs are crafted with passion and attention to detail, from the vine to the glass. They are made from grapes harvested from select vineyards around the villages of Richerenches, Vinsobres, Puyméras, Tulette and Saint Maurice. Sun-drenched grapes yield generous accessible wines.

A description of our Réserve wines by our oenologist, Laurent Paré:

Cellier des Dauphins Réserve Red – AOC Côtes du Rhône:

Flavour profile in a few words: Black fruit aromas/Round/Complex

“Harvested at the peak of ripeness from our sunny terroirs, Syrah and Grenache grapes give this wine its deep red colour. Special care during extraction accounts for its unctuous quality and the complex play of sun-ripened black fruit. Astute blending brings roundness, sweet and supple tannins and a lingering finish.”

Cellier des Dauphins Réserve Rosé – AOC Côtes du Rhône:

Flavour profile in a few words:Fruit/Freshness/Finesse

“Early harvesting in the fresh daybreak hours is the secret of this dazzling pale wine. Gentle pressing transfers the entirety of the grapes’ freshness and the crisp, bold gentle acidity of red fruit. It is aged on lees, which bolsters the fruit flavour and adds mineral highlights.”

Cellier des Dauphins Réserve White – AOC Côtes du Rhône:

Flavour profile in a few words: Yellow fruit/Fresh/Round

“A blend of Viognier, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc grapes gives this wine a fresh aromatic character. Careful blending yields round complex wines with subtle roast and butter scents, combined with ripened fruit flavours (apricots and peaches).”
