Our Réserve White: Gold medal winner at the Vinalies® Internationales!

Scroll

The 25th annual Vinalies® Internationales wine contest, founded by the Union of French Oenologists, was held in Paris from March 1-5, 2019. During the five-day event, juries of sensory analysis experts under the aegis of a French oenologist, conducted blind taste tests on wines from around the globe. The competition is renowned for the expertise, precision and diligence of its judges and competitors. The Vinalies® Internationales is summed up in six words: passion, diversity, trust, impartiality, professionalism and organization.

Our Réserve AOC Côtes du Rhône White 2018 won a gold medal at the 2019 Vinalies® Internationales.

Our oenologist Laurent Paré describes the wine like this:

“A skilful combination of Viognier, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc grapes account for these fresh aromatic white wines. Careful blending yields round complex wines with subtle roast and butter accents, combined with ripened fruit flavours (apricots and peaches).”

During the tasting, the sensory analysis experts appraised the wine in the following terms:

“A fine wine with notes of vanilla and hints of apricot, mango, and honeysuckle. Savour the mellow elegance of a wine that pairs perfectly with poultry in West Indian sauces or fish in spicy sauces.”

Treat yourself to this delicious generous wine, which epitomises our terroirs and brings out the very best in our noble grape varieties.
