This year, the 5th edition of Decanter Asia Wine Awards (DAWA) took place 3th to 6th September 2019 in Hong Kong. This competition is the most important on the Chinese market now with a jury composed of Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers. Wines are sorted by region, style and price point and blind tasted. Medal categories correspond to the 100-point scoring system used by Decanter and many top wine critics around the world.
During edition DAWA 2019, Cellier des Dauphins has received awards about the following wines:
“Leather, cedar, crushed rock and truffle components give this wine a distinctly savoury hue, backed by rose, violets, ripe black plums and cherry pits.”
“Gastronomic and composed. The nose opens with beeswax, ripe apricot and lemon sherbet, before the salt and mineral-laced palate fruit reveals a drop of vanilla essence.”
“Hugely attractive and rewarding, with meaty, spice and pepper-infused fruits graced by dried flowers and augmented with chocolate tones appearing.”
