This year, the harvest began on September 2, with our parcels located in Sérignan-du-Comtat. Mid-september, the harvest had started on most of the Cellier des Dauphins terroirs.
Chardonnay and Viognier were harvested first, then it was time for our rosé wines. Harvested very early in the day, these grapes have retained a beautiful freshness and have developed fruity and elegant aromas.
The terroirs located at altitude, on our parcels of Nyons and Puyméras for example, have been rather well preserved from the spring frost. Indeed, the harvest will be very qualitative, lower yields have enabled an optimal concentration of the grapes !
The harvest of the red grape varieties is still in progress. Particular attention is paid to the maturity of each bunch of grapes, in order to harvest the grapes at their optimum maturity.
