3 Gold medals for Reserve 2019!

Following on from the Platinum medal it received from Decanter magazine for its maiden vintage 2018, the Reserve red 2019 has also met with great success. The new vintage of Cellier des Dauphins Réserve Red was highly awarded in the 2020 international competitions. Indeed, no less than 3 Gold medals were won by this Côtes du Rhône, the signature style of the Cellier des Dauphins brand. Réserve red received a Gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2020, a Gold medal at the Concours International de Lyon 2020 and a Gold medal at the Vinalies Internationales 2020.

At the last of these three, we also received complimentary tasting comments, which we are delighted to share with you as follows….

Tasting comments from Vinalies Internationales 2020:

“Maturity and harmony sum up this pretty Côtes du Rhône 2019. It is intense purple in colour with an unmistakable nose of red and black fruits, redcurrant, blackcurrant and blueberry. Hints of liquorice and toasted bread blend elegantly with these ripe fruit notes. The palate is round, generous and refined, with well-structured and mouth-watering tannins, coming from the perfectly mature fruit. It would match extremely well with a duck confit or a cassoulet, for example. “
